Patient’s Treatment Experience
This patient approached us with knee pain that he had been experiencing for months. He was not able to do all the things he used to, such as walking for extended periods, and it even affected his work. He had heard about regenerative medicine but wasn’t sure if it would help him. Dr. Ratio consulted with him and recommended Human Cellular Tissue Product (HCT-P) injections along with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) to give him the maximum chance of getting relief from the chronic pain. Over the course of just 6 weeks, Ratio Wellness Nurse Practitioner Kristin Turnbull administered 3 injections in each knee, starting with PRP the first visit, then HCT-P the second visit, and PRP again on the third visit.

By the end of the 6 week period, our patient was pretty surprised at the results. Aside from a bit of normal inflammation after the injections, he is now feeling almost completely free of the pain!
